BATICALACA, the grim avenger of crime and corruption in the city of POSADAVILLE, NEO MEXICO! Brand new Poster Comic for May (and it's up a day early!).

The Baticalaca, like the Spider-Calaca (seen in March's Poster Comic [link] ) will be one of the members of the Calacas of Justice, my Day of the Dead-themed super hero team. "Calacas Convene!", so to speak... :)

The printed version of this, an 11" x 17" full color poster, will be available for FREE on Saturday, May 5 at the LATINO COMICS EXPO, being held at the Cartoon Art Museum. [link]

Great examples. I usually make my comic in b&w, but for these web comic/poster comic short stories, I've been able to do the complete package.

I always appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Yes, the color in comics is one of the things with most potential in the medium. Guys like José Villarubia, Jim Woodring, Steve Oliff are examples of great colorists.

Well, you're busy tearing up the convention circuit! Plus, when you do your first one, it'll break all kinds of records because yours will be double-sided with a pin-up and folks will be like, "C'mon, Jav, why didn't you think of that?! Jason is kicking your butt with this idea!!"
